Mommy I want to be, The Mommy we all want to be

As moms we have alot to live up to, and alot to become. June Cleaver, Mrs. Brady set a mighty high bar to us modern day women to achive. Some women do this with tottal ease and make it all seem so simple! I married into a family of mommies that I would love to be. My mom growing up didnt bake cookies, or make costumes (except for once) make the cool crafts and etc; I grew up just fine and have no scars from that (so no offence to the mommys that do this). BUT I want to be the craftly mom who makes the cookies, cool crafts for the class AND has the time to be at every function and be the room mom. IDK why I want to be this type of mom but when i do not achive that goal I feel awful about my self and feel like I have let my little one down. :(

Now I know I can hear all of you saying "NO YOUR NOT, YOUR WONDERFUL" but I honestly dont think I am the mommy I want to be. So as of Wednesday May 25th I started taking some of it back, i made my girls field day shirt totally cute! She loved it! Then I made her some rocking cute flip flops!! So from this day forth, I am goingto be the mommy I want to be, even if its just a little at a time.
